Deli Catering in Philadelphia

Deli catering is a specialty of Pagano’s Market and Bar. From their fresh cheeses, imported ham, corned beef, and prosciutto to premium sandwiches, wraps, and hoagies, Pagano’s has always offered traditional and healthy fare. Matthew Pagano, the owner, continues the legacy that his father, Jack Pagano, started back in 1962. Jack introduced gourmet cuisine to customers in the Philadelphia area with the opening of Pagano’s Prime Meat, offering high quality meats and cheeses. When a meat-packing strike in the 1970s made it difficult to obtain prime meat, Jack expanded his offerings to include gourmet salad bar ingredients such as chevre goat cheese and creme fraiche, along with exotic coffee beans and chocolate-chip scones. Pagano’s Prime Meats became Paganos Cheesery, a source for restauranteurs like Georges Perrier, his then neighbor on Walnut Street. Perrier would visit every day to talk with Jack about the offerings for his cheese plate at Le Bec-Fin.

At Pagano’s, there is no end to the deli favorites that they offer, including a traditional deli tray featuring a classic assortment of sliced roasted turkey breast, imported ham, roast beef, tuna salad and smoked turkey breast. The premium deli tray features sliced fresh carved turkey breast, Virginia baked ham, grilled Cajun chicken breast, corned beef brisket, chicken salad, and grilled mixed veggies. Not to be left out are Pagano’s sandwich and hoagie offerings! Traditional sandwich trays consist of a collection of roasted turkey breast, tuna salad, roast beef, imported ham, mixed cheese and smoked turkey breast. Premium hoagies include Italian Classico (made with parma prociutto), fresh carved turkey breast, homemade chicken salad, grilled Caesar / Cajun chicken breast, grilled mixed veggies with provolone cheese and corned beef brisket. For premium sandwich and food description, be sure to check out our menus.

Since 1962, Pagano’s has been slicing rib eye steakmeat – sliced thin and grilled to perfection. This delicious steakmeat is used in Pagano’s Philly Cheese Steaks, with provolone or American cheeses, fried or raw onions, hot sliced cherry peppers, pickles, ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard. Other favorites include homemade egg salad, tuna salad, turkey pastrami, hot pastrami hoagies, liverwurst, deluxe Italian hoagies, and corned beef specials.

For over fifty years, Pagano’s continues to serve their customers with the best quality deli meats, homestyle food, and gourmet offerings. Get a taste of Pagano’s famed deli selections, and they will surely be your favorite deli catering in Philadelphia. Place an order at 215-523-6200.
