November Happy Hour Raises Funds, Spirits

On Thursday, November 13th, friends of Musicopia old and new helped us usher in the holiday season with a special happy hour held at Pagano’s Market and Bar in Center City, Philadelphia. A jazz trio from Musicopia’s partner school Kensington CAPA performed classics and original compositions, adding a festive flair to the evening. Tickets for Musicopia’s January 27th English Chamber Orchestra event at the Kimmel Center were raffled off, along with tickets to the Philadelphia 76ers, donated by 97.5 FM The Fanatic. 97.5 The Fanatic and Project HOME to host early Thanksgiving
Philadelphia, PA (November 20, 2014): Hosts and staff of 97.5 The Fanatic will once again be serving dinner to Project HOME, this year serving two of its residences. On Tuesday, November 25th, Thanksgiving dinner will be provided at both James Widener Ray Homes and the newer JBJ Soul HOMES.
“It’s a privilege to once again be a part of this holiday with Project HOME”, said 97.5 The Fanatic’s Program Director, Matt Nahigian. “To be able to provide dinner to two homes this year makes it even more special.”

During the month of October, customers can get a pink cupcake with their pint of craft beer at Pagano’s Market and Bar! Pagano’s sold freshly baked cupcakes commemorating Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. The proceeds went to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure fund, and benefited breast cancer research at the Penn Medicine Breast Cancer. Penn’s Breast Cancer Research Program is approved and funded by the National Cancer Institute. Their scientists continually conduct research to learn more about the causes of breast cancer and to develop new treatments. Pagano’s also donated[...]
